Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney – Family Law

Key Responsibilities

Manage family law matters from intake through resolution, including discovery, mediation, and trial.
Conduct client consultations and provide clear, strategic legal advice.
Represent clients in South Carolina Family Court with professionalism and confidence.
Mentor and supervise associates and paralegals; ensure timely, high-quality work.
Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly leadership sessions.
Monitor case progress, client satisfaction, and billing efficiency.
Collaborate with firm leadership on training, performance, and process improvement.
Support marketing and community outreach through speaking and networking opportunities.

Hiring criteria

Required:

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in South Carolina (in good standing)
Minimum 5–7 years of family law experience, including courtroom litigation
Strong knowledge of South Carolina Family Court procedures
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Preferred:

Experience with high-asset or contested custody cases
Familiarity with Smokeball, Clio, or other case management software
Prior experience mentoring or supervising team members
