Job Title: LAW LIBRARY FACULTY SERVICES RESEARCH ASSISTANTS

The Faculty Services Office of the Law Library of the Joseph F. Rice School of Law is seeking 2L or 3L students to assist with short-term faculty research projects. Projects can range from the strictly legal to the interdisciplinary and may involve research in a variety of legal and non-legal databases. Library faculty will provide training and supervision. With the exceptions of group meetings and necessary training, scheduling is flexible, and many assignments can be done offsite using electronic resources.

These positions require basic competence in legal research and effective time management. Prior research experience (legal or non-legal) is helpful but not required.

Compensation is $18/hr. The maximum time commitment per week is 15 hours, but it could be less, depending on demand for services. The positions are available now.
