Recruiting for office(s) in: Charleston, South Carolina
Type of organization: Law Firm
Job Title: Associate Attorney
We are a busy plaintiff’s personal injury law practice with a physical office in the City of Charleston. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to assist with all aspects of case handling; from new client intake through litigation and even trial where needed. This position offers significant hands-on experience and real-world responsibility. The associate will work closely with the firm’s principal attorney and will have direct involvement in client communication, case development, litigation (including drafting court pleadings, managing discovery, conducting depositions, etc.).
The pay structure will include a base salary, as well as commission, bonuses, and percentages of earned attorneys fees. The sky is the limit regarding financial growth horizon.
To start, the associate will have regular in-person office hours Monday-Friday. Weekend work is not expected, unless something major (like trial) is going on the following week. Additionally, after trust is earned over a period time, we expect this position to evolve into a hybrid between in-office and work-from-home. (Our paralegal works from home 2 days a week currently).
Come live in one of the best cities in the world, make a comfortable living, and have some fun along the way. This is a unique opportunity.
