We are seeking an entry-level attorney to join our law firm in Columbia, SC, who is interested in expanding the firm’s personal injury practice alongside attorneys Jason Reynolds and Michael Parks. We’re looking for a strong work ethic, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients.
Job Description: In time, and with training by our attorneys, the lawyer will be able to provide initial legal analysis, develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions and briefs, attend hearings, and negotiate settlements. Associate will also be able to assist with and lead trials.
Qualifications: Candidates should have passed the S.C. bar exam. Prior experience as an attorney is not required, but prior work in a personal injury firm is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter who is highly motivated to perform excellent work. Candidates must be current members of the South Carolina Bar in good standing or be in the process of being sworn in imminently.
