Hiring criteria
Candidates should have at least 2-5 years of experience in an insurance coverage practice, with a solid understanding of insurance policy interpretation. Alternatively, experience as an appellate law clerk or staff attorney, or federal law clerk, will also be considered. Candidates must have strong analytical, research and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. The position will initially primarily involve non-litigated insurance coverage work, including research, writing opinion letters, and advising clients on their obligations with respect to claims handling and coverage issues. The practice has an active coverage litigation practice, and while not required, litigation experience would be a bonus, including drafting pleadings and participating in discovery and case management. Experience appearing for depositions and hearings would also be helpful, but is not required. Law licensed required, with North and/or South Carolina privileges preferred.
Teague Campbell offers a competitive base salary, generous bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. The position can be partially or fully remote based on business and individual needs. Submit a cover letter, including salary expectations and a resume. Teague Campbell is an equal employment opportunity employer.
