Job Title: Assistant County Attorney
The Greenville County Attorney’s Office is seeking an attorney to assist in its representation of the legal interest of the County for assigned departments, related agencies and elected officials. The position requires research, drafting, and assessment of legal issues presented. Assignments are centered on elements of government civil practice (contracts, property, ordinances and regulations, litigation management, personnel, finance). Position advises clients of legal solutions and execution of appropriate steps and implementation; provides legal opinions and memoranda; develops strategies and solutions to ensure compliance; and delivers information regarding updated laws and regulations as needed. The position also involves litigation and in-court appearances.
