Job Title: Real Estate Litigation/Commercial Litigation Attorney
Prominent mid-size Charleston area firm with an excellent culture is seeking a Litigation Attorney with at least 4 years of litigation experience who has tried case(s) to verdict to expand its existing Litigation Practice Group. This firm is open to candidates who are currently in an Associate, Counsel or Partner role (any partner level candidates would be considered for Non-Equity Partner if they have limited or no portable book of business, and they would be considered for Equity Partner if they do have portable business).
The main practice areas this person would handle are real estate litigation (stemming from developer disputes, land use issues, foreclosure, construction, quiet title, contracts, condemnation, etc.) and commercial litigation, but the firm is open to other areas of litigation which are a good fit for the firm.
Excellent compensation (amount dependent upon experience) plus bonus potential and strong benefit package provided. The billable hour environment is excellent, as this firm values work-life balance.
Candidates are not required to have portable business, as most of the cases come from existing clients or referrals from other lawyers in the firm, but portable business and potential referral sources are welcomed.
