Job Title: Associate Attorney

Small law firm seeking a new attorney to fill associate position. Great opportunity for a newly graduated attorney to get experience. We practice in North Carolina, so would be seeking someone licensed in North Carolina or planning to take the North Carolina bar exam. I would be happy to employ a law clerk to assist me prior to becoming fully licensed with the NC bar.

Opportunity to get practical experience with Estate planning (wills, trusts, etc), probate, civil litigation, formation of corporations, criminal defense, contracts, and various other legal needs of a small North Carolina community.

Hiring criteria

Need to be willing to work in office, no remote work. Monday – Friday, work hours can be flexible but typically 8:00-5:00. We are located in Denver, North Carolina, approximately thirty minutes northwest of Charlotte on the shores of Lake Norman.
NC Bar license or preparing for NC Bar license examination. I will be happy to hire a law clerk to assist prior to becoming fully licensed.
